The appointment covers agreed products and customers in the UK and Ireland, expanding Steel Traders’ ability to offer customers technically demanding tubular products in specialist grades, backed by a fully managed route from mill to delivery point. Centravis manufactures seamless stainless steel tube and pipe for applications where corrosion resistance, dimensional accuracy, high pressure, elevated or cryogenic temperatures, and dependable material performance are critical. Its portfolio covers more than 1,000 standard sizes in over 100 corrosion- and heat-resistant steel grades, produced to a broad range of international standards
A specialist product portfolio
The Centravis range available through Steel Traders for agreed customers in the UK and Ireland includes:
- General tubes and pipes — for chemical and petrochemical processing, oil and gas, power generation, food and drink, metallurgy and other industrial services.
- Heat-exchanger, boiler and furnace tubes — for heat transfer, steam generation and high-temperature process duties.
- Instrumentation and automotive tubes — for hydraulic and pneumatic controls, pressure lines, fuel systems and precision engineering applications.
- Hollow bars and mechanical tubing — for machining into engineered cylindrical and hollow components.
- Specialist grades — including austenitic stainless steels, duplex and super duplex grades, nickel alloys, and hydrogen-service solutions such as H2FIT tubing.
Nuclear products and certain existing Centravis direct accounts remain handled directly by Centravis and are outside the scope of this agency appointment.
